JAKARTA, Indonesia, A large earthquake struck off the coast of the main island of Java in the Indonesia Monday which prompted the authorities to briefly issue a tsunami warning and sending thousands of residents fleeing their homes in panic.There was no report of injuries or damage caused by the earthquake of magnitude 6.7, which struck shortly after 3 hours Monday.The U.S. Geological Survey, said the temblor was centered on nearly 200 miles off the coast of the South Java, 15 kilometers below the ocean floor.Thousands of people in the city of Cilacap poured into the streets and ran at heights, many gathering in mosques, witnesses said on radio El Shinta.
