Pope Benedict XVI celebrated Easter Sunday mass in place St. Pierre repack.

Tens of thousands of pilgrims, tourists and Romans are filling the paved square, discharge into a boulevard leading to the River Tiber. Many others is streaming to the square during the morning service.

At noon (1000GMT), the Pope will move to the central balcony of the Basilica of the traditional Easter message.

This agreement comes after months of mass demonstrations against the man who ruled Yemen for 32 years.
