Opposition Leader Besigye Shot Uganda in the arm by the soldier - BusinessWeek

April 14 (Bloomberg) - Kampala today, Judith Kabanda, a regional Chair for the part of Besigye, leader of the main Ugandan opposition, Kizza Besigye, was shot in the arm by a soldier, while he led a protest March in the capitalsaid in a telephone interview.

Police is still investigating and could not confirm if Besigye, leader of the Forum for democratic change, was shot dead, Judith Nabakooba spokesman said. Besigye was to protest against rising fuel and food costs in the country of East Africa.
